Who we are

Maxi is operated by Maxi Intelligence, Inc. This policy covers our website, pilot-interest form, and closed-beta iPhone app.

What we collect

• Profiles: names, dog care needs, provider capabilities, and optional profile photos you choose to upload.
• Care activity: requests, dates, quotes, bookings, simulated-payment status, messages, meet-and-greet times, and feedback.
• Account records: identifiers, activity needed to run the beta, consent choices, and acknowledged Terms and Privacy versions and dates.
• Pilot interest: your name, email, ZIP code, role, participation preference, referral source, and consent to follow-up.

Notifications use an app-installation identifier, an Apple push token, your chosen language, and notification preferences linked to your Maxi account.

Stay evidence

With the owner’s separate consent, we may process stay video to provide care summaries, selected images, and event information. These can be incomplete or mistaken.

The beta shows stay highlights, not full video playback. The demo clip is an example, not footage from your stay. We ask for your consent separately before processing stay video.

How we use it

We use information to run and protect Maxi, support care decisions and communication, provide consented stay summaries, and improve the beta. Pilot-form information is used only for pilot follow-up and related company updates.

Who receives it

Relevant profile and care information is shared with the owners and providers involved. Provider photos can be seen by signed-in participants; dog photos are limited to their owner and providers who receive a care request for that dog.

Cloudflare supports secure delivery. FormSubmit sends pilot submissions to us. Apple TestFlight distributes the beta and shares usage, crash, and feedback information with us; it may include your name and email. These services have their own privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to protect people or the service.

Apple Push Notification service delivers care and message alerts. Apple receives the delivery token and alert text, including a message preview when you allow it.

Device access and tracking

This website saves your language choice on your device. It is not used for tracking.

The app receives only photos you choose, not your whole library. It does not request camera, microphone, location, or contacts access.

We don’t sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across apps and websites. Maxi has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK; Apple’s TestFlight collection is separate.

Keeping information safe

We use encrypted connections and access controls. No service can promise complete security. Your device may keep profile-photo copies and unfinished drafts. Signing out does not delete your account or care records.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information as needed to run and evaluate the beta, provide support, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. After the beta, we intend to delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

Deletion may not undo improvements already made to the service. We won’t keep identifiable information solely for that reason.

Notification history is available for 24 hours. Expired notification and delivery records are removed as the service is used; limited duplicate-prevention records may remain. This does not delete conversations, booking records, or alerts already displayed on your phone.

Your choices

You can choose not to add a photo and can replace or remove one in the app. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw stay-evidence consent, or stop pilot updates. We may need to verify your identity.

In Maxi’s Notification Settings, you can turn all alerts or individual types off and choose whether messages show their content. iOS notification and preview settings also apply.

Adults only

The beta is for adults age 18 or older. If you are under 18, don’t use it or submit personal information.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can contact us if a child has shared information; we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Policy updates

As Maxi changes, we may update this policy. We’ll post the current wording and update date here.
